Doulas generally take a holistic approach. Meaning, I provide whatever help you crave in the moment. Labor, delivery, and postpartum are full of the unpredictable, so I surround you with a supportive network to take care of everything - from your emotional wellbeing to your laundry pile.
Birth Doula Support
I provide birth doula support to families in the Virginia Beach and surrounding area. Homebirth, Birth Center, or Hospital, I will be there for you!
Birth doula services include:
- 1 free 30 minute consultation via Google Meet to answer any of your questions about my services and to discover if we are a good fit together.
- 2-2 hour in-person prenatal visits to create a plan for support, go over comfort techniques, and get to know each other.
- Education + evidence-based information & resources.
- Assistance in creating a personally tailored birth plan.
- ongoing telephone and email support for length of contract.
- 24/7 phone, text, and email support starting at 37 weeks.
- Continuous IN-person support throughout labor.
- Assistance with Golden Hour (the first hour after birth)
- Initial Latch & Breastfeeding support (if you so choose)
- 1-2 hour in-person Postpartum follow up to debrief birth and provide necessary resources.
- Unlimited Call/Text support for 6 weeks postpartum
- Connection to local and online resources as needed
- Access to a back-up doula *if necessary*

Postpartum Doula Support
I provide in-home postpartum doula support to families in the Hampton Roads area for the first 12 weeks after your baby is born.
Postpartum doula services include:
- One prenatal visit to create a plan for support
- Education + evidence-based information on recovery, newborn care, and feeding
- Physical and Emotional recovery for both parents
- Screening for Postpartum Mood Disorders
- Light meal preparation so you stay hydrated and nourished
- Light household chores like dishes & laundry
- Breastfeeding & Bottle feeding support (ie positioning, paced bottle feeding, etc)
- Infant soothing techniques
- Assistance with Newborn Care (ie diapering, bathing, feeding, etc)
- Education and Information on Safe Sleep
- Care for baby while you take time to sleep, shower and practice self-care.
- Assistance with older children in the home.
- Connection to local and online resources as needed
- Postpartum doula support services can last anywhere from a few visits to more than 3 months. We'll develop a customized plan for you.
$35/ Daytime Hours - Minimum 10 hours (2 days/ 5 hour visit.)
$40/ Overnight Hours (9pm-7am)- Minimum 2 nights (20 hours)
